Rugby.com.au selects its Team of the Week from Round Four

Front Row: Allana Sikimeti and Hera-Barb Malcolm Heke (both Western Force) and Eva Karpani (Queensland Reds)

Sikimeti and Malcolm Heke rose to the occasion of facing the defending champions as the Force duo were strong up front

Malcolm Heke was crucial in the comeback win with the break for Cecilia Smith’s game-levelling try before scoring what would be the winner.

Sikimeti was strong across the park in her 63 minute stint, whilst Karpani’s solo try will go down as one of the best of the year

Second Row: Carletta Yee (Fijiana Drua) and Michaela Leonard (Western Force)

Yee got through plenty of dirty work for the Drua in the big win, topping the tackle count (16) to go with double-digit carries.

It was a similar story for Leonard, who made 20 tackles and provided crucial leadership to steer the team home.

Back Row: Nunia Daunimoala (Fijiana Drua), Taj Heald (NSW Waratahs) and Suilita Waisega (Fijiana Drua)

Daunimoala continues to rack up the post contact metres, recording close to 50 to go with five tackle busts.

She is joined by Drua teammate Waisega, crashing over for a late first half try.

Heald earns the nod to complete the forwards after an impressive first start for the Waratahs.

Halves: Sam Wood (Western Force) and Varanisese Qoro (Fijiana Drua)

Wood and Qoro have been automatic picks all year, further establishing themselves as the best in the competition.

The Force scrumhalf set up two tries in the second half comeback, whilst winning the kicking battle with close to half a kilometre of kicking metres.

Qoro had a similar effect on the Drua with four try involvements and a game-high 12 tackle busts.

Centres: Josivini Naihamu (Fijiana Drua) and Cecilia Smith (Western Force)

Naihamu is another automatic selection after three line breaks, seven tackle busts and over 120 metres in the win over the Reds.

She partners Wallaroo Smith, who came up massive with two tries in the upset win.

Outside Backs: Vani Buleki (Western Force), Amelia Whitaker and Waiaria Ellis (both NSW Waratahs)

Buleki was a terror on the wing for the Force, recording a team-high three line breaks and five tackle busts.

She partners Waratahs duo Whitaker and Ellis, with Whitaker scoring a highlight long-range effort in the opening minutes as she recorded 176 metres.

Meanwhile, Ellis was nearly impossible to stop with her slick side-step, beating 12 tackles.
