Adam Ashley-Cooper snagged a try for Bordeaux in a 35-25 win over the struggling Stade Francais.

The Wallabies back showed off his elusiveness, stepping around a Stade defender to score his side’s first five-pointer of the match.

Frontrower Sekope Kepu played a full 80 minutes at tighthead for Bordeaux.

A late comeback wasn’t enough for Toulon to snatch a win over Toulouse in the Top 14 competition.

Matt Giteau returned for Toulon in the match, at flyhalf, while Drew Mitchell was named on the bench but played no part in the match.

Giteau slotted an 80th minute conversion to put Toulon just two points behind their rivals but the clock beat his side.

James O’Connor lined up on the wing for Toulon, while Quade Cooper started at fullback and both played a full 80 minutes.

Nic White slotted 13 points off his boot for Montpellier in his side’s 51-10 win over Grenoble.

White, who is reportedly considering a move back to Australia, booted three penalties and two conversions in the big win that keeps them in the top two of the competition.

Leicester ran out 31-17 winners over Worcester on Sunday morning, kicking off a successful sporting weekend for the Midlands city.

Peter Betham played a full match for the Tigers in the win, that keeps them in the top four of the Premiership.

Cooper Vuna played 80 minutes on the left wing for Worcester in the match.

Wasps were handed a major reality check against second-placed Exeter in the premiership, losing to the Chiefs 24-3.

Both sides sit on relatively equal footing on the Premiership ladder but it was the Chiefs who took control in a big win.

Flanker George Smith was at his hard-working best, with 16 tackles and one turnover despite the loss.

James Horwill’s Harlequins scraped through to beat London Irish 32-25 on Monday morning.

After a see-sawing match, the Harlequins scored a penalty and a converted try in the final 1-0 minutes to turn a three-point deficit into the win.

PRO 12

Taqele Naiyaravoro scored a try as Glasgow romped to a 70-10 flogging of Luke Burgess’s Zebre in the Pro 12.

The win puts the Warriors on the top of the PRO 12 ladder, two points clear of Connacht.
