For the first time in history, Australia’s four senior Teams In Gold will unite for an international quadruple-header at Accor Stadium on Saturday, October 17.
Fans will be treated to four international matches involving the Wallabies, Wallaroos and the Australian Women’s and Men’s Sevens teams taking on rivals from across the rugby world in Sydney – all for the price of a single ticket - at family-friendly afternoon kick-off times.
The historic program will commence with a WXV Global Series clash between the Wallaroos and Scotland from midday AEST. The Test match will be the first ever played by the Scotland Women’s team on Australian soil and the second for the Wallaroos at Accor Stadium.
The Wallaroos-Scotland Test will be followed by a blockbuster Sevens double-header featuring Australian teams in action against a pair of two-time Olympic gold medallists. The Australian Men will play Sevens powerhouses Fiji from 2.05pm AEST followed by the reigning World Champion Australian Women taking on New Zealand from 2.25pm AEST.
An epic day of international rugby will culminate with the Wallabies’ Bledisloe Cup clash against the All Blacks from 3.45pm AEST where the latest chapter in the 123-year trans-Tasman rugby rivalry will be written. New Zealand claimed a thrilling three-point win over the Wallabies when the teams last met at Accor Stadium; the venue next year’s Rugby World Cup final.
In addition to the on-field action, the Australian Rugby Foundation will host 2,500 junior players from across community rugby for a ‘march past’ on the field from 3pm AEST ahead of the Bledisloe Cup Test.
