Whilst Round 15 of Super Rugby Pacific saw the NSW Waratahs and Western Force exit finals contention, there was plenty to like from the weekend's action.

The Waratahs went down to the ACT Brumbies on Friday, while the Force defeated the Fijian Drua in Perth.

Meanwhile, it was a clutch victory for the Queensland Reds as they took down Moana Pasifika in Auckland.

Rugby.com.au selects its team of the week from the Australian sides in Round 15.

Front Row: Harry Johnson-Homes, Brandon Paenga-Amosa (both Western Force) and Allan Alaalatoa (ACT Brumbies)

The Western Force pack were decisive in their win over the Fijian Drua, with Johnson-Holmes and Paenga-Amosa leading from the front.

Both got through a mountain of work with 11 and 13 tackles respectively, while they were powerful at scrum time when it mattered.

Brumbies prop Allan Alaalatoa gets the nod after his heroics in his 150th, sparking the visitors with a line break and a five-pointer.

Reds young gun Massimo De Lutiis was also superb and just missed out, starting to show the form that got him picked in the Wallabies squad to start the year.

Second Row: Josh Canham (Queensland Reds) and Cadeyrn Neville (ACT Brumbies)

Canham returned with a bang, helping the Reds improve their lineout significantly while getting himself a try with a powerful burst. He nearly had his second, if not for a knock-on in the build-up.

Meanwhile, Neville pestered the Waratahs all night, stopping a certain try and scoring one himself.

Force duo Jeremy Williams and Darcy Swain were strong, while Matt Philip and Lachie Shaw had an entertaining battle throughout the night in Sydney.

Back Row: Nick Champion de Crespigny (Western Force), Fraser McReight (Queensland Reds) and Vailoni Ekuasi (Western Force)

The one-time Wallabies skipper Champion de Crespigny muscled up in defence for an insane 26 tackles with just one miss.

His work with Ekusasi was excellent, with the powerful number eight inspiring the fightback with his try right after half-time.

McReight stops an all-Force back row after edging out Carlo Tizzano, with McReight’s three breakdown steals pivotal in their win.

Halves: Ryan Lonergan (ACT Brumbies) and Carter Gordon (Queensland Reds)

The pair find themselves in the halves once again after helping spur their side’s attacks to victory.

Lonergan’s sharp cut-out ball got the Brumbies rolling as he also threatened around the ruck while contributing perfectly from the boot.

It was a similar story to Gordon, with the flyhalf’s long range burst in the first half one of several brilliant involvements from the former Rebel.

Centres: Hamish Stewart (Western Force) and Triston Reilly (NSW Waratahs)

Stewart delivered one of his best games for the Force this year as he beat the Drua at their own game.

The former Red constantly burst tackles, recording a game high seven whilst not missing one on defence.

Reilly just edges out opposite number Kadin Pritchard, getting the nod after a strong back-and-forth duel between the two.

Outside Backs: Harry Potter (NSW Waratahs), Tim Ryan and Jock Campbell (both Queensland Reds)

Ryan and Campbell were the chief destroyers for the Reds in a tense win over Moana Pasifika.

The two delivered one of the tries of the season with their sharp hands to keep the ball alive and put the winger over, with Campbell sealing the win with a clutch last-minute break and five-pointer.

Potter rounds out the team as the flyer keeps delivering the form that saw him a Wallabies regular, recording four tackle busts and two line breaks.

Max Jorgensen and Tom Wright were strong at the back as well, while Treyvon Pritchard continues to deliver on his hype.
