Both sides currently sit on the bottom of their respective ladders, eager to push for a spot in the top eight.

The Men finished the 2022-23 Series strong enough to secure their spot on the circuit whilst the Women need strong results to avoid the playoff.

He is slowly closing in on his 100th World Series try after consistently emerging as one of their best.

This was highlighted by his game-winning try against New Zealand in 2019 to record their first win.

The 19-year-old is one of the breakout stars of the Sevens circuit since making her debut at the start of the World Series in 2022.

Hidalgo has since gone on to star for the 15s side as well, scoring a great try in their WXV 3 Final defeat to Ireland.

She represents a new wave of Spanish talent looking to make their mark on the world stage.
