Amahli Hala replaces Tia Hinds (calf), with Maddison Levi named despite a knee injury, returning in that win over the Americans.

Meanwhile, Men couldn't replicate last week's effort in Valladolid and finished seventh after defeating Great Britain in the playoff.

The Men welcomed back Jayden Blake as he fills in for Dietrich Roache (ankle), while Liam Barry's side started the tournament without James Turner, suspended for the pool stages after a red card in the Valladolid Final.

Follow a recap of all the action, game by game, below:
Monday, June 8
Australia Women 26 v New Zealand Women 19 - FINAL

Australia have taken out the World Championship after a 26-19 win over New Zealand.

The Aussies got off to a strong start and led 14-7 at the break thanks to tries to Heidi Dennis and Maddison Levi.

Levi added her second to seal the win, with Faith Nathan's second half effort wrapping up the title.

Sunday, June 7
Australia Men 29 v Great Britain Men 0 - SEVENTH PLACE FINAL

Australia have finished their campaign on a high, defeating Great Britain 29-0 in the seventh place final.

Ben Dalton crossed for a first half double as the Aussies weathered the early storm.

The second half was all about flair as Ben Dowling's freakish tunnel ball set up James Turner for the highlight of three second half tries.

Australia Women 21 v USA Women 7 - SEMI FINAL

Australia are into a World Championship decider against New Zealand after a 21-7 win over the USA.

The Aussies built their lead in the first half, with Heidi Dennis stepping up once again for a try and several key steals.

Co-captains Bella Nasser and Madison Ashby both crossed for tries, booking their spot in the Final against the Black Ferns, who needed an after-the-siren Jorja Miller try to down Canada.

Australia Women 14 v Spain Women 0 - QUARTER FINAL

Australia have fought their way to a 14-0 win over Spain to advance to the semi finals.

It was a tense contest with Heidi Dennis breaking the deadlock after 11 minutes for the opening try.

Kahli Henwood secured the win as the Aussies keep their finals hope alive.

Saturday, June 6
Australia Men 0 v France 26 - QUARTER FINAL

Australia will compete in the seventh-place play-off on the final day of the season on Sunday after falling to France 26-0 in their quarter final.

Last weekend's champions welcomed back James Turner from suspension but it wasn't enough as France raced out to a 19-0 lead at half-time.

A further try to the French after the break put the game out of reach with Australia now looking to finish the season on a high.

Australia Women 35 v Japan Women 7

Australia have kept their perfect run going with a 35-7 win over Japan.

Demi Kennewell opened the scoring as the Aussies ground their way to a 21-7 lead at the break.

Tries to Teagan Levi and Kaitlin Shave sealed the win as they secured top in their pool.

Australia Men 12 v Spain Men 10

Australia have booked their spot in the quarter-finals after a 12-10 win over Spain.

Ben Dowling's first half double was pivotal as Spain dominated the second half, hunting for a win.

The Aussies defence held strong for long enough, getting a crucial lineout turnover to kill the clock and secure second in their group.

Australia Men 17 v USA Men 19

Australia have suffered a last-minute loss to the USA in their final pool match of the day.

Discipline proved costly throughout as the USA outfit raced to a 14-5 lead before Australia's comeback began.

Back-to-back tries to Wallace Charlie and Ben Dowling got the side ahead but yellow cards to Maurice Longbottom and Jayden Blake put Australia under pressure.

Blake’s two minutes on the sideline was after the siren with the USA marching up field and eventually getting over the line for the match winner.

Australia Women 19 v Fiji Women 7

Australia have got through the opening day with back-to-back victories after beating Fiji 19-7 in Bordeaux.

Faith Nathan reached a career milestone 150 tries with a double against the Fijians as the Aussie Women got through both games without Maddison Levi (knee), who remained 13th player to start the tournament.

Heidi Dennis also crossed before both sides played a scoreless second half thanks to a huge try-saving effort to Bienne Terita.

Friday, June 5
Australia Men 43 v Uruguay Men 12

Australia have backed up their Spanish success as they took down Uruguay 43-12 with ease.

They were dominant in the restart game, with Aden Ekanayake scoring a hat-trick and winning back several kicks.

Captain Henry Hutchison crossed for a double, with Jayden Blake and Archie Saunders touching down.

Australia Women 45 v Brazil Women 7

Australia has started their campaign with a 45-7 win over Brazil.

With Maddison Levi on the sidelines, the Aussies recorded six different try-scorers, thumping Brazil after conceding the first points.

Teagan Levi crossed for a second half double, with Faith Nathan finished it off with for a perfect start.
