The All Blacks have named their June Series squad, and there was no room for Ben Lam.

Lam has had a breakout start to the year with the Hurricanes, leading Super Rugby in tries scored this season, with 14.

When Steve Hansen named his squad for the France series, though, Lam was not one of three new faces in the squad.

Backrowers Shannon Frizell and Jordan Taufua and Chiefs halfback Te Toiroa Tahuriorangi are the only uncapped players.

Owen Franks and Nehe Milner-Skudder also return to the group after injuries ruled them out of last year's action.

The All Blacks play their first June Test against France on June 9.
