Wallabies winger Drew Mitchell scored a try for Toulon in their 44-15 win over Brive, as they moved to the top of the Top 14 competition.

The 31-year-old crossed in the 75th minute, bumping off one defender and beating another to score the corner for Toulon.

Mitchell was the sole Aussie in Toulon’s starting lineup, with Quade Cooper playing eight minutes off the bench.

Wallabies Adam Ashley-Cooper and Sekope Kepu both started on the bench for Bordeaux in their 15-3 win.

Ashley-Cooper played 50 minutes for Bordeaux in the win, while Kepu stayed on the pine.

Capped Wallabies back Jesse Mogg started on the wing or Montpellier in a 31-29 win over Toulouse.

Mogg’s side inflicted Toulouse’s first home loss of the season, though it took a marathon 88 minutes for the result to be sealed, with Toulouse scoring in the 87th minute to open the opportunity for a draw.
