Tom Lynagh has handled the pressure of the famous name with grace and class.
The blond-haired flyhalf was born in Italy and is the son of Wallabies great Michael Lynagh, one of the best ever to pull on the famous gold ten jersey.
He was just 18 in 2021 when he left his family in London and landed in Brisbane to forge his own path in rugby without a senior game behind him.
The young No.10’s poise and skills have been developed in 36 Super Rugby Pacific games for the Reds over the past three seasons. In helping his team reach the qualifying finals in 2024, he made an appearance off the bench for the Wallabies in a win over Wales, and made his first start in the first Test against the British & Irish Lions the following year.
