Tahlia Brody played her first ever rugby match in 2013 while attending college at SUNY Geneseo, which is located in her home state of New York. She played for the university’s club team all four years and graduated in 2017.
Brody played for seven different club teams, before having her talents identified by USA Rugby High Performance, attending her first USA Rugby Assembly at the age of 28 for the 2023 Pacific Four Series earning her debut in Madrid against Spain.
Continuing to earn the starting role in the backrow, Brody was selected to her first Rugby World Cup in 2025 for the tournament in England.
