Leilani Nathan

Leilani Nathan (Waratah #194) is a star in the backrow for the NSW Waratahs.

Leilani is the twin sister of Nicole Nathan, who joined the Tahs in 2025.

Leilani’s rugby experience ranges from a junior level with the Hamilton Hawks to her senior club of the Eastern Suburb where she excelled in the Jack Scott Cup.

Nathan is a strong player with her brutal defence a key part of her game.

Nathan made her Wallaroos debut against New Zealand in 2023, shortly after her debut for the Waratahs.

Away from rugby, Nathan is a What Ability ambassador and passionate about working with people with a disability.

Nathan floated in and out of the Wallaroos squad in 2024 before a knee injury ruled her out of the WXV 2 tournament.

An unfortunate ACL injury in 2025 ruled her out of World Cup contention with the forward on the comeback trail in 2026.
