The 198cm lock, who hails from NSW club Eastern Suburbs, switched the Tahs for the Force in late 2022 and has developed into a leader within the group, winning the Force Man Award in 2023.

Williams enjoyed a breakout 2023 campaign, finishing in Super Rugby’s top three for lineout performers and proving a shining light.

He was schooled at Scots College in Sydney alongside Will Harris, whom he lives with now along with fellow Wallaby Ben Donaldson and credits inaugural Force captain Nathan Sharpe as among Williams’ idols.

Williams was named captain of the Force in 2024 and parlayed this further responsibilities into a maiden Wallabies call-up where he played in eleven tests in his first year in the Wallabies camp.

Then after another strong 2025 Super Rugby Pacific season, Williams was selected to start against the British & Irish Lions in the opening test in Brisbane.
