Ben Dowling burst onto the scene when he had a break-out year in the Australian Sevens program during the 2021/22 season, playing in six of eight tournaments.
He grew up in the Waratahs Sevens program alongside the likes of Joseph Aukuso-Suaalii, Ben Dalton, Tolu Koula and Kaeo Weekes.
Dowling has also represented Australia at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, 2022, returning to the program following a short stint with the NSW Waratahs in XVs.
Dowling made his Olympic debut during the Paris Games in 2024, scoring a crucial try.
