Here's what players, coaches and ex-players said on the finish.
“I don’t really know what to say. This is a very special arena and it’s an honour for us to play here and I’m super proud of the team
“Andy Farrell told us to have no doubt that we would win this game and we continued to play big. We continued to play big and we got the win.
“It’s not about me, it’s all the team, who should great grit and determination. I’m so proud of the whole squad.”
“It hurts. So proud of this team. We were written off and we came out and put our bodies on the line and the game was there for us at the end so to lose like that hurts.
“We get to pull on the gold jersey again so we’re going to be not short of motivation. Any opportunity to play for Australia is special and I hope everyone here at home has seen what type of team this is. We’re going to keep fighting and improving and we want to just do Australia proud.”
[On the controversial call late] “I’m not in the right emotions to speak about that.”
"It's a special moment for everyone so we are absolutely delighted that we showed the courageof what it takes to be a Lion and delighted for everyone involved.

"I thought it was a brilliant clear-out. Honestly, it depends which side of the fence you come from, I would have thought.
"I can understand people's opinions, but I thought Jack was brilliant when he came on, and so were the rest of the bench."
"We're absolutely gutted.
"I didn't think we were that bad last week. I know people reported as such, but it was three tries each, and I felt we really clawed our way back into that game. In this one, I felt we had the game to really challenge them, and we demonstrated that when we built the lead.

"I think everyone can make their own decision on that. You just have to read Law 9.20,and I guess you just have to listen to the description from the referee and then watch the vision.
"We felt it was a decision that doesn't really live up to the big player safety push that they're talking about.
“I can see what the referee was seeing but there was a penalty there whether it was off feet, contact to head or neck.
“If that was minute one, that was a penalty.
“I disagree. I think if you call that a penalty, you penalise every ruck.
“It’s the referee call and he was quite strict at the breakdown and got into the Lions and Wallabies, he looked at it and made the call and I agree.”
