Wallaroos star Layne Morgan can feel the energy building ahead of Australia's First Test against the British & Irish Lions - and she wants a piece of the action.
At just 26, Morgan already sits fifth for all-time Wallaroos caps (33) and is set to tackle her second World Cup campaign in England later this year.

However, the halfback has even greater hopes for a future Wallaroos Test against the touring Lions women, who are set play their inaugural three-match series against New Zealand in 2027.
Speaking at the Brisbane unveiling of a commemorative $2 coin celebrating both the Wallabies and Wallaroos, Morgan told rugby.com.au of her ambition to face the Lions and showcase Australian women's rugby on the biggest stage of all.
"It would be something so exciting to get involved in and it’s something us girls have spoken about in Wallaroos camp," Morgan said on Wednesday.
"We see what the boys get to do - this amazing one-in-12 year event - and how the tour brings such camaraderie to rugby and makes it such a special time.
"We would love for the women's game to see that as well in Australia and having a men's and women's Lions double-header would be amazing.
"It’s something that would help elevate our game globally and locally."
Lions fever has already gripped Brisbane with pop-up stores in Queen Street, gold and red jerseys swarming through the CBD and an official fan zone being opened at King George Square.
This energy coupled with Australia's commemorative $2 coin unveiling has Wallabies prop Tom Robertson relishing the occasion.
"It adds an emphasis to what’s going to be a great year with the British & Irish Lions for the men and the Women’s World Cup, so it’s awesome to see," Robertson told reporters.
"It’s just really special to be a part of and hopefully we get to see a full house at Suncorp stadium with mostly gold jerseys.
"I’m sure there’ll be a few red ones as well, but the whole of Brisbane’s really buzzing so awesome to see the town get around rugby and really looking forward to the game on Saturday."
Brisbane fans will be treated to a week-long festival of rugby with the Wallabies kicking off against the Lions this Saturday before the Wallaroos host Wales at Ballymore next weekend.
