The Wallabies will begin their Rugby Championship campaign against the world champion Springboks in Johannesburg.
The Australians are fresh off a thrilling 2-1 series defeat to the British & Irish Lions that saw Joe Schmidt's team claim the final Test in Sydney.
Meanwhile, the Springboks swept through their July Tests against Italy and Georgia as they look to retain their Rugby Championship title.

The Wallabies will next play the Springboks at Ellis Park in Johannesburg on August 17 (AEST).
It will be the first Test of the Rugby Championship as the two teams face off in Cape Town a week earlier.
