The Wallabies have welcomed back a host of stars to the starting side for Sunday’s (AEDT) match against England at Twickenham.

There are eight changes to the starting side that defeated Japan last week, with Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii, Max Jorgensen and Taniela Tupou among the stars to return to the team.

Suaalii takes his spot at outside centre once again, combining in the midfield alongside Hunter Paisami, with Len Ikitau set to be available next week.

It’s an all-new wing partnership as last year’s Twickenham hero Jorgensen partners Harry Potter, with Schmidt opting to ease Dylan Pietsch back into action after his jaw injury.

Jorgensen scored the winner last year at Allianz Stadium, with fullback Andrew Kellaway retaining his spot at the back.

In the forwards, Tupou and Billy Pollard reunite in the front-row as Angus Bell retains his spot at loosehead prop.

Nick Frost and Jeremy Williams link up once again as the two locks, with Lukhan Salakaia-Loto overcoming a rib injury to feature on the bench.

He is joined there by last week’s captain, Nick Champion de Crespigny, dropping back into a finisher role with the return of Harry Wilson to the starting back-row and the captaincy.

As a result, Rob Valetini shifts to blindside flanker along with the return of Fraser McReight at openside flanker, with Carlo Tizzano ("MCL twinge") unavailable for selection.

On the bench, Allan Alaalatoa is the lone fresh face who was not named to play Japan, joined by Tom Robertson and Josh Nasser as the forward finishers.

"The group travelled well to London earlier in the week and have had a couple of trainings ahead of this weekend’s Test," coach Joe Schmidt said.

“The coaches have tried to balance this year's tough schedule in terms of Test matches and travel, so it was great to freshen a few players up last week and we hope that allows the group to be really competitive on Saturday.”
