Western Force centre Tevita Kuridrani has been ruled out for the rest of Super Rugby AU after receiving a three-week ban for his hit on Hunter Paisami.

Meanwhile, Rebels pair Pone Fa'amausili and Isi Naisarani will miss their opening round clash with the Blues in Super Rugby Trans-Tasman following their red cards.

Kuridrani was yellow-carded in the opening minute of their 30-27 win over the Reds, lifting Paisami over the horizon and dumping him on his side.

After a SANZAAR hearing on Monday evening, it was deemed that the tackle was reckless, rather than intentional, putting him in the low-end entry point for grading.

His clean record and immediate guilty plea saw the charge reduced from six weeks to three.

This will ensure that he will miss the Super Rugby AU finals, as well as the Force's Round One match with the Chiefs in Super Rugby Trans-Tasman.

He joins Rebels forwards Isi Naisarani and Pone Fa'amausili on the sidelines, who were also handed three-match bans after receiving red cards in their win over the Waratahs.

Both were sent off after high tackles on Waratahs lock Max Douglas in the 18th and 76th minute respectively.

They were deemed to be in the mid-range level for high contact, with clean records and early guilty pleas allowing them to take the reduced three-week suspension.

"Having conducted a detailed review of all the available evidence, including all camera angles and additional evidence, including from the player and submissions from his legal representative, Tim North QC, the Foul Play Review Committee upheld the Red Card under Law 9.13," Foul Play Review Committee Chairman Adam Casselden SC said on the Rebels pair.

"With respect to sanction the Foul Play Review Committee deemed the act of foul play merited a mid-range entry point of 6 weeks due to the World Rugby instructions that dictate any incident of foul play involving contact with the head must start at a mid-range level.

“However, taking into account mitigating factors including the Player's good judicial record and pleading guilty at his first available opportunity the Foul Play Review Committee reduced the suspension to 3 weeks."

All three players will be unavailable to play until after May 15.

This rules the Rebels pair out of their opening Round clash with the Blues.
