Super Rugby U16s Round Two Teams: Reds commence season against Victoria, Waratahs host Force

ACT Brumbies host NSW Waratahs in Round 1 of Super Rugby U16s 2025.

The second round of Super Rugby U16s gets under this weekend, as the Queensland Reds take the field while the Brumbies enjoy the bye.

They will host the Victorian side at Ballymore, while the Waratahs host the Western Force at Rat Park as part of a double header with the Super Rugby U19s final.

The Waratahs hit the ground running in round one, blowing away the Brumbies 97-0, while the Force got their season underway with a 24-5 win over Victoria.

The Reds will see a new flyhalf in Charlie Meredith start, while Noah Gaffney will command the troops from the hooker position.

The Waratahs will two see two changes to their side that beat the Brumbies, with flanker Jayden Richards and winger Julian Minto coming into the side.

Lastly, the Force will make two changes of their own to the side that defeated the Victorians, with Kalamunda back-rower Kalani Onno and Joondalup Brothers outside back Marco Nel, the latter impressing off the bench last week with a try.
