It was not meant to be for the ACT Brumbies, who were defeated by the Fijian Drua in Canberra.

Rugby.com.au selects its team of the week from the Australian sides in Round 10.

Front Row: Tom Robertson (Western Force), Ethan Dobbins (NSW Waratahs) and Misinale Epensia

The prop duo of Robertson and Epensia stood up for the Force, getting through a mountain of work defensively.

The pair made 10 tackles each and both delivered hefty carries close to the line to go with scrum dominance.

Dobbins rounds out the pair after the Waratah carved through Moana Pasifika, recording 14 carries, a line break and a near perfect night at lineout time.

Second Row: Jeremy Williams (Western Force) and Matt Philip (NSW Waratahs)

The combo of Williams and Phillip grafted hard for their respective teams in their victories.

Williams led the Force for tackles with 20, including a crucial turnover on defence to go with his stolen lineout.

As for Philip, his leadership was massive in the comeback win, recording double digit carries and tackles.

Back Row: Angus Scott-Young (NSW Waratahs), Carlo Tizzano (Western Force) and Pete Samu (NSW Waratahs)

Scott-Young endeared himself perfectly to Waratahs fans on his starting debut, providing physicality in defence that caused two turnovers.

He was joined in kind by Pete Samu, Australian Rugby’s everywhere man, who had 13 carries and a trio of tackle busts.

But the standout was Tizzano, providing the winning touch with his last minute ruck steal, his second of the night, to go with a pair of tackle busts.

Teammate Vaiolini Ekuasi was also strong in the win with 16 carries, while Rob Valetini and Luke Reimer were at their typical best for the ACT Brumbies.

Halves: Henry Robertson and Ben Donaldson (both Western Force)

As close as it can get at selection time but Robertson wins out over Jake Gordon by a pair.

Robertson’s double and efficient work around the breakdown just beats out Gordon, who is reminding everyone of his talent and why he has been the first choice at Test level.

Donaldson was the pick of the flyhalves, combining nicely with new recruit Zac Lomax to dominate the aerial game whilst also creating two line breaks and assisting a try.

Centres: David Feliuai (ACT Brumbies) and Joey Walton (NSW Waratahs)

Feliuai produced one of his better games for the Brumbies, making a serious dent in the midfield.

He had two line break assists and a try assist to go with several big carries.

For Walton, he thrived in the grind of the win, recording a team high 17 carries, 109 metres and four tackle busts as he picked up the slack after Lawson Creighton’s head knock.

Outside Backs: Corey Toole (ACT Brumbies), Zac Lomax (Western Force) and Sid Harvey (NSW Waratahs)

There were about five wingers you could’ve picked for this team but Toole and Lomax get the nod.

Toole was a one-man army, with his dashing effort late capping off a night that included three line breaks and five tackle busts.

As for Lomax, his aerial dominance and silly skills helped inspire the comeback, and he celebrated his starting debut with a try.

Teammate Dylan Pietsch was as good as he’s returned from injury on fire, while Ollie Sapsford was electric on the other wing to Toole.

At fullback, Harvey wins selection over Tom Wright and Mac Grealy, slicing and dicing for a double, 14 points and four tackle busts
