The inaugural Super Rugby AUS competition kicks off this week with New South Wales hosting the Western Force and Queensland welcoming ACT to Ballymore.

Super Rugby AUS launches under Friday night lights with the Waratahs tackling Simon Cron's Force and picks up again after Saturday's Australia-Argentina blockbuster with the Reds and Brumbies clashing on Sunday afternoon.

Watch every second of Super Rugby AUS live and on-demand via Stan Sport.

NSW have named two Wallabies in their matchday 23 for the Force with captain Matt Philip starting at lock and Isaac Kailea coming off the pine, while Sevens duo Sid Harvey and James McGregor are among the other notable inclusions.

The Force welcome back Wallabies veteran Kurtley Beale in a squad littered with Test talent, including captain Darcy Swain and Issak Fines-Leleiwasa.

Meanwhile, ACT have named a powerful side led by Wallabies flanker Luke Reimer with a host of rising stars, including First Nations & Pasifika centre Jarrah McLeod and former Australia U20 captain Toby Macpherson named to debut.

They'll tackle a Reds side featuring Wallabies Jock Campbell and Seru Uru while Aidan Ross and returning tighthead prop Massimo De Lutiis pose a powerful threat at scrum time.
