The Brumbies have welcomed back their stars after a much-needed rest, headlined by the return of James Slipper and Nic White to the starting side.

They are joined by Irae Simone and Pete Samu, who were rested during their narrow win over the Rebels.

Tom Cusack has failed to overcome injury, allowing Luke Reimer to come onto the bench for a potential debut.

"It's good to see Luke get his chance, he's been nice and patient and worked really hard for his club (Wests) over the past couple of weeks," coach Dan McKellar said.

"He's excited and I know his family is heavily invested in his career and I know they'll be excited and proud of him."

The Brumbies go through the hands for a sweet team try.

Meanwhile, the Force have sprung a major surprise at fullback, naming Jake Strachan with Rob Kearney still out with injury.

“Jake’s a very talented player, he has the ability to create something out of nothing. His nickname is ‘Silky’ for a reason,” coach Tim Sampson said on Strachan.

His inclusion drops Jack McGregor to the bench, with Richard Kahui filling the void left by Tevita Kuridrani (suspension).

Santiago Medrano also regains his starting role, pushing Greg Holmes back to the reserves.
