The Reds have opted for a surprise captaincy shift as back-rower Liam Wright returns to the bench.

James O'Connor takes over the captaincy, with Ryan Smith returning to the starting side, pushing Angus Scott-Young to his preferred flanker position.

Josh Flook comes into the centres in place of Hunter Paisami (facial fracture), with Paisami set to miss the next three weeks.

Jock Campbell has overcome a hamstring injury and returns to the wing.

Meanwhile, the Brumbies' physical Qualifying Final win over the Western Force has taken its toll, with Pete Samu and James Slipper ruled out.

Scott Sio and Nick Frost enter the starting side, with powerhouse back-rower Rob Valetini moving to number eight.

Harry Lloyd and former Force back-rower Henry Stowers are the new men on the bench, with Stowers making his debut for the club.
