Japan's Women's side are looking to continue their Sevens growth as they head to Perth with a point to prove.

The Japanese were the surprise packets of last year's World Series, regularly finding themselves fighting for position in the top half of the competition.

Their strong form continued into the Asian Olympic qualification tournament, securing their place as they build form ahead of Paris.

Hara has emerged as Japan's key weapon in attack as their youthful team builds experience on the World Series.

The Japanese ace has the most tries for her country despite playing just 11 events since her debut.

The 23-year-old was crucial in getting them onto the World Series in 2022 and is only getting better as a result of regular exposure to high-quality Rugby.
