Wallabies coach Eddie Jones has opened up on his viral orange cattle prod after the first training camp of the year.
Jones made reference to one when speaking about Suli Vunivalu's selection, only to stun some players when an orange cattle prod all of a sudden reportedly appeared in one of the first meetings.
Asked about it, the former England boss shed some light on his unique methods of motivation.
"The cattle prod worked. It gives you a bit of a shock, the cattle prod. He did really well but it's like any other player, there's massive competition in that wing spot," he told ABC News Radio sport reporter Catherine Murphy.
"We've got Mark [Nawaqanitawase] from New South Wales, we have young [Max] Jorgensen, we have [Marika] Koroibete who we caught up with on Monday.
There's huge competition for those wing spots and for Suli (Vunivalu) it's about keeping improving, keep working on his game, getting a little bit fitter, getting more touches of the ball.
"We know he's a great player and he's moving in the right direction."

The 37-year-old has been plying his trade in Japan with Urayasu D-Rocks, confirming he will officially hang up the boots.

Brumbies prop Allan Alaalatoa had the perfect answer to the ongoing 'code war' between the Rugby codes.
The back-and-forth has controlled the media over the past weeks, with Alaalatoa stating he'd consider a move under one key consideration.
“Some of the boys were asking me that question if there was an opportunity for me and I said ‘If I’m going to go over, I’ll play six (five eighth) but that’s about it.’," he said with a smile.
“What do you reckon, I’ll be alright at six?”
There were stunning scenes out of the USA when the opposition coaching staff started a scuffle during an MLR match.
