The NSW Waratahs will be out to restart their season with victory as they take on Moana Pasifika in Sydney.

The Waratahs come in fresh off the bye, still hurting after their loss to the Chiefs.

Wallabies scrumhalf Jake Gordon returns to the starting team as they look to end their three-game losing run to Moana Pasifika.

For the visitors, it's a game filled with emotion in a week where their future in Super Rugby was all but confirmed.

Sydney-born Patrick Pellegrini is one of several returning to the starting side, looking to leap off the bottom of the ladder.
