In exciting times ahead for the Aussie Mens Sevens program, the side has confirmed seven new names will be set to join the squad for the upcoming HSBC SVNS series.
The new signings come amidst a changing of the guard under coach Liam Barry, who joined the program in November last year.

The names departing the program include Sid Harvey, Conor Hickey, Hayden Sargeant, Matt Gonzalez, Henry Palmer and Dally Bird - however the success of several players subsequently has highlighted the Sevens pathway program.
Sid Harvey and Henry Palmer enjoyed strong stints in Super Rugby AUS, with Harvey being named in the team of the tournament and being subsequently named in the Australia XV squad that will travel to Japan next week.
Fellow Sevens alumni Max Burey also excelled, earning player of the tournament for his performances for the Western Force.
In their place, the new blood has been headlined in the arrivals of Harry Wilson and Wallace Charlie - with the latter also inking a long-term deal with the Western Force.
“Obviously it’s an honour and privilege to wear the gold jersey, hopefully I can do it again to represent my family and people of the Torres Strait," Wallace said in a statement.
“I was only 18 when I first went over to LA which was a surreal experience, especially being an Indigenous guy, with Maurice Longbottom in the squad who is someone I look up to. I’m really excited to rip in with them for the next circuit.
“With a long-term view, I’ll definitely better my skills under the coaching of Liam Barry and Frase (Shannon Fraser) and come back to the Force and continue to grow and expand on how I play my rugby.”
Wilson enjoyed stints at the Waratahs, playing 14 games and scoring a memorable try in their victory over the Crusaders in 2024, and a period in the Welsh URC side Dragons.
Joining the duo will be Dietrich Roache, who re-signed after missing last season through injury, having been a premier point scorer for the men in gold in previous years.
The side will also be joined by Lloyd McDermott Rugby Development team alumni Gage Philips, who has enjoyed a strong season for Randwick in the Shute Shield.
Following in Harvey's footsteps, Australia U20 alumni Beau Morrison and Cooper Watters has also signed with the sevens side, with Watters enjoying a strong couple of years in the Waratahs academy.
Finishing up, Bailey Roberts-Lintmeijer has also signed a developmental contract with the program after an impressive season for Newington College.
The full, finalised squads for the men's and women's campaigns in the HSBC SVNS is set to be announced in due course, with the action kicking off in Dubai on November 29-30 before heading to Cape Town.
Liam Barry's side will be looking to improve after finishing the 2024-25 season in sixth, before an eighth-place finish in the LA Final.
The season will come with a new-look format, culminating in a revamped SVNS World Championship, held across three events in Hong Kong, Valladolid and Bordeaux.
