The 25-year-old made his name with the NSW Waratahs, playing 14 games and scoring a memorable try in their victory over the Crusaders in 2024.
From here, he would link up with the Welsh side and played in 12 games across the URC and Challenge Cup.
The versatility back left the club at the end of the season in order to return to Australia and link up with the program.
“He’s young man who has come out of Super Rugby and embraced the challenge in a new country with us and been a pleasure to work with,” Dragons head coach Filo Tiatia said at the time.
“We now wish him every success for the future and look forward to seeing how his career progresses. Harry and his family will always be warmly welcomed back at Rodney Parade in the future.”
Wilson will look to join his brother Teddy in pulling on the gold jersey for the Sevens team, with the scrum half featuring in Singapore in 2024.
He would become the third member of the family to represent Australia, with dad David skippering the Wallabies on several occasions throughout his 79-Test caps, which include a successful World Cup campaign.
The signing of Wilson adds further quality to Liam Barry’s side, who finished the 2024-25 season sixth in the regular season, before an eighth place finish in the LA Final.
It comes after injured star Dietrich Roache re-signed with the program last month.
Roache missed last season with injury, with the premier point-scorer set to make his return from a long-term absence.
Further signing/re-signing announcement will be made for both squads in the coming days ahead of the new-look SVNS World Series.
The action will kick off in Dubai on November 29-30 before heading to Cape Town.
The series will head to Australia in February 7-8, with details and location to be confirmed.
It all concludes with the revamped SVNS World Championship, held across three events in Hong Kong, Valladolid and Bordeaux.
