The Western Force is excited to announce the Club’s 34-player squad for the 2027 Swyftx Super Rugby Pacific season, ahead of pre-season formally commencing next week.

The Force has kept the core of the 2026 squad, boosted by the addition of several signings including the returning James O’Connor, newly-capped Wallaby Harry McLaughlin-Phillips and James Ramm, following several fruitful seasons in Premiership Rugby with Northampton Saints.

The key Wallabies contingent Ben Donaldson, Nick Champion de Crespigny, Brandon Paenga-Amosa, Carlo Tizzano and Jeremy Williams are on board.

The Force has also retained the core of its 2026 squad, headlined by the re-signing of Dylan Pietsch, Henry Robertson, Mac Grealy and Will Harris earlier in the year.

There are numerous members from the Force side that won the Swyftx Super Rugby AUS title earlier this month, led by hooker Nic Dolly along with Player of the Tournament Boston Fakafanua – who made his Super Rugby debut late last season - and leading try scorer Nathan Hastie.

The aforementioned Harris won the Super Rugby AUS Player of the Final before being one of seven Force players named in the Australia A squad for the USA tour, along with Grealy, Hastie, McLaughlin-Phillips, Pietsch, Tom Robertson and Zac Lomax.

There’s a host of other additions in Aussie 7s pair Wallace Charlie and Aden Ekanayake along with former Chiefs prop Reuben O’Neill.

Force head coach Simon Cron said: “We’re happy to have retained most of the core player group from last season, adding in some targeted players that will complement the group.

“We’ve seen a lot of recent growth within our squad, highlighted by our Wallabies and Australia A representatives and recent success in Super AUS, and we’ll keep driving the players to progress further to move us towards our goals.

“The continuity among our leaders is important, helping to further instill and grow our standards and culture internally which will drive us forward.”

As announced this morning, Kurtley Beale and Harrison Goddard have signed on season-long train-and-trial deals and will be available for selection in the event of injury on injury cover contracts.

Albert Alcock, Tama Anderson, Gus Farnan, Kenny Harris, Zak Healey, Bradley Kuhn, Ronan Leahy and Max Sawers will all join pre-season on train-and-trial deals too.

Force pre-season officially starts on Monday 2 November. The Force will likely make further signings to the squad ahead of the season opener on Saturday 13 February against the Chiefs at HBF Park.
