The ACT Brumbies are using last year's historic win at Eden Park as motivation to break a similar drought against the Crusaders on Sunday.
The Brumbies' last victory in Christchurch came in 2000, and they have lost their last 12 away games against the most successful team in Super Rugby.

However, the Brumbies' recent history shows they are no strangers to breaking droughts.
They started 2025 by becoming the first Australian team to win in Fiji, and backed it up with their first victory at Eden Park in 12 years.
Winger Corey Toole played in both of those games, feeling the confidence after last week's win in Perth.
"We briefly spoke about it at the start of the week," Toole explained to reporters on the hoodoo.
"We also said we have a poor record against the Blues over there at Eden Park, and we broke that record last year, so we can build a bit of confidence over that versus the Crusaders this week.
"...I think they've probably been the best team over the last five or so years in the comp, so it's gonna be a big game for us and we're gonna have to perform at our best to get the win over there in Christchurch."
Toole and the Brumbies are comfortable with fans and pundits writing them off once again, which only fuels the fire.
"I think off the back of round one we put out a pretty good performance, definitely not perfect, but we're building quite nicely as a team," he believes.
"Hopefully we can just get better each week and we'll see what happens on Saturday."
The former Australia Sevens star was excited to go up against All Blacks flyer and Super Rugby benchmark Sevu Reece, who sits as the competition's all-time try-scorer with 66 tries.
"He's a quality player and he can do something out of nothing just like a lot of their backline players and even their forwards," Toole remarked.
"They've got a lot of stars in their team, but I guess we just want to focus on ourselves and get our own systems right, and I think it's the best thing we can do."
