Australia could find itself in an all-Pacific pool for the 2027 Rugby World Cup as the four bands are locked in following last week's results.

One team will be drawn from each band, creating six pools of four teams for the 24 teams.
It comes with the November internationals all but wrapped up, with South Africa's match against Wales having no impact on the World Rugby Rankings.
Australia had a chance to jump into band one with a 16-point (or better) win over France; however, the side went down at Stade de France.
They loom as the top-ranked team in band two, set to be drawn into Pool A alongside one of South Africa, New Zealand, England, Ireland, Argentina and the French.
This could set up a potential Bledisloe match-up in the Pool stages for the first time in World Cup history.
From there, they could draw neighbours Tonga and Samoa in bands three and four respectively, with Samoa dropping into the final band despite their draw to Belgium.
Last week's result saw significant shifts within the middle bands, with Japan cementing their spot in band two after their last-minute winner over Georgia.
As a result, the Georgians fell from 11 to 13 on the Rankings, leaving them as the most dangerous team in band three.
Further teams in this band include Uruguay, Spain, USA and Chile, with the likes of Fiji, Scotland, Italy and Wales in band two.
Samoa is joined in the final bond by Portugal, Romania, Hong Kong, Zimbabwe and Canada, with Belgium the only team inside the top 25 to miss qualification.
