The hooker has started 11 games for the ACT-based club in 2025, helping them to a home qualifying final this weekend against the Hurricanes.

Pollard debuted for the Wallabies in 2022 after a late call-up to face Argentina but 2024 was his breakthrough season in the gold jersey.

The hooker played five Tests in 2024 and was eyeing up further opportunites with his fresh deal.

“I’m really happy to re-sign with the Brumbies and Australian Rugby for two more years," Pollard said.

“There’s nowhere else I would rather be at this stage of my career, and I feel I’ve got a lot of growth in me as a player and a person that can be achieved here in Canberra.

"As a team we are striving for success and I enjoy being a part of the playing group and the organisation at the Brumbies.

“Obviously there’s some big milestone events on the horizon here in Australia and I’ll be continuing to work hard to give myself the best chance to be part of those in a Wallabies jersey.”

The 23-year-old is set to form a big part of the Wallabies' forward pack heading into the future, with the likes of Angus Bell, Fraser McReight, Nick Frost and Jeremy Williams amongst several locked up long term.

“Billy is a promising young player still at the early stages of his career," Rugby Australia’s Director of High Performance, Peter Horne said.

“We’re pleased he’s re-committed his future to Australian Rugby and we’re committed to supporting him get the best out of himself on and off the field.”

“Billy has grown enormously as a player since he arrived at the club," coach Stephen Larkham added.

"He’s been on the end of a lot of tries this season, but there are other areas of his game like his set-piece and defence where he has made such great strides.

"We’re delighted that he will stay on with the Brumbies and hope he can help us achieve success in the coming years.”
