Australian trio Henry Hutchison, Isabella Nasser and Maddison Levi have been named in the 2026 HSBC SVNS Dream Teams after stellar personal seasons in gold.

Hutchison is included in World Rugby’s Men’s Dream Team for the first time following a dominant campaign leading his side as captain in 2026.

Nasser has made it back-to-back entries after another strong personal year while Levi completes a third consecutive season she’s been included in World Rugby’s Women’s Dream Team.

Levi also took out the leading try-scorer award for a fourth consecutive season with another 64 added to her career tally.

Australia Men’s captain Hutchison featured in every event for the side this season and became the most-capped player in history in January surpassing former skipper Nick Malouf.

The three-time Olympian crossed for 14 tries but it is his work rate on both sides of the ball that rarely goes unnoticed in a match.

Nasser produced a similar season, playing in every tournament, with her heavy workload around the middle of the field heavily admired while adding 12 tries to her overall career tally.

The 23-year-old led the side to victories in Cape Town, Valladolid and Bordeaux, and recently notched her 25th event on the World Series circuit.

Levi enjoyed another record-breaking season in gold, going past the 250 try mark and now sitting just second on the all-time leaderboard behind New Zealand’s Michaela Brake.

The Gold Coast product fell just short of her record 69 tries scored in a season (2024) with a knee injury plaguing her chances in Bordeaux, but returned for the final to help Australia clinch the 2026 World Championship title.

World Rugby Chief executive Alan Gilpin said: "Congratulations to all of our HSBC SVNS Awards winners and nominees.

"These awards recognise the outstanding players who have inspired fans around the world with their talent, dedication and performances throughout an exceptional year of rugby sevens.

"The HSBC SVNS 2026 season has once again showcased the speed, skill and excitement that make our sport so special, with memorable moments and outstanding achievements across every event.

"As we conclude another thrilling campaign in Bordeaux, it is fitting that we celebrate the individuals who have consistently set the standard on and off the field and made such a significant contribution to the success of the global series."

In the other major awards, Hutchison and Levi missed out on claiming the HSBC SVNS player of the year accolades while Harry Wilson had to settle with his rookie of the year nomination.
