Australia have completed a perfect day to start Perth, sweeping through the pool stages to finish top of Pool B.

It sets up a semi-final tomorrow against the USA (12:35 pm AWST) as they go one step closer to going back-to-back on home soil.

Co-captain Bella Nasser scored in all three games as the leader reflected on the value of the growing depth as coach Tim Walsh rotated through his stars throughout the opening day.

“We're really lucky to have the depth of our team, not just the 13 here but those players back home are incredible and make us better every day at training,” she believes.

“We’re able to rotate players and build on combinations with younger players and the more experienced to ultimately put our best performance on.”

The Australians set the tempo early with a 54-5 thumping of Great Britain, before producing similar wins over France and Canada.

With a host of regular starters on the bench, Heidi Dennis took over with a hat-trick after an early GB try kicked the hosts into gear.

They were barely troubled as the former football star scored twice in the final four minutes.

“It was great. I was a bit nervous starting like always but you’ve got to get those first nerves out. It was a bit of a rough start but once we got there, it was great,” Dennis remarked.

“There’s nothing cooler than playing home, it’s so sick. Knowing all our friends and family are around here watching us, it make it that much better.”

The dominance continued into France with an easy 26-12 win, set up by a typically dominant Maddison Levi performance, who also touched down in each of the victories.

Levi had the first two tries, including a fierce bump-off for her second, as the Australians enjoyed a sizeable lead throughout the game.

With their spot in the semi-finals all but locked up, Levi continued her fine tournament with another double with the 38-10 victory over Canada.

She crossed in the opening minute before sealing the win late with a trademark try on the outside.

Levi was confident the team still has plenty of improvements left in them, eager to avenge last week's defeat to New Zealand in the Singapore Final.

“We also started awesome and a little bit clunky still, so for that to still get the win and just keep building for tomorrow is exciting,” she believes.

“…You look at every other team, they keep building each week, each tournament. I think no matter where you go, no matter who you come up against, it's always going to be a tough game, but it's exciting.

“The little things that we can fix that will help evolve our game even more.”

The other semi-final will see the Black Ferns Sevens take on France, with the current regular season leaders in fine form throughout the day.
