They welcome back Bienne Terita, beginning the three-event World Championship at the home of the World Series.

Meanwhile, the Men have made a late change, calling in Ethan McFarland to replace Jayden Blake (quad).

They also swept their pool, however, went down to Spain in the quarter-finals and finished sixth.

Follow a recap of all the action, game by game, below:
Sunday, 19 March
Australia Women 14 v New Zealand Women 19 - FINAL

New Zealand have made it four straight wins in Hong Kong with a 19-14 win over Australia in the Final.

The Aussies threw everything at the Kiwis, trailing 14-7 at the break as they looked to start the World Championships on a high.

But the Kiwis kicked clear, with a Maddison Levi try unable to inspire a magic comeback as they went down in the final seconds.

Australia Men 10 v Fiji Men 26 - Fifth Place Final

Australia have finished sixth after a 26-10 defeat to Fiji.

The Aussies dominated possession as Aden Ekanayake crossed but got burned on the counter as Fiji took their chances.

They built a 14-5 lead at the break and while Ben Dalton hit back after an early Fiji try, the Sevens powerhouses sealed the win with a late try.

Australia Women 26 v France Women 5 - SEMI FINAL

Australia are into another trans-Tasman Final after a 26-5 win over France.

Tia Hinds did the damage early, crossing for the opening two tries for a 14-0 lead, with the pick coming after she backed up Bella Nasser’s break before half-time.

Maddison Levi then edged closer to Michaela Brake’s (nee Blyde) all-time record with a second half pair for the win and another date with the Kiwis

Australia Men 5 v Spain Men 19 - QUARTER FINALS

Australia have gone down 19-5 to Spain and will fight for position in Hong Kong.

They trailed 7-0 at the break, with Henry Hutchison denied a try on the siren for a forward pass.

Aden Ekanayake got the Aussies on the board, but two Spanish tries blew out the margin, resulting in a defeat.

Australia Women 45 v Fiji Women 5 - QUARTER FINALS

Australia have eased into the semi-finals with a 45-5 win over Fiji.

Maddison Levi officially went to second on the all-time try-scoring table, scoring in the first minute, before shortly adding her second.

Sister Teagan got in on the fun with a double as the Fijians struggled with discipline, twice copping yellow cards.

Australia Men 12 v New Zealand Men 7

Australia have once again nabbed trans-Tasman bragging rights, with a Dietrich Roache double giving them a 12-7 win over New Zealand.

Roache broke the game open in the second half, first grubbering for himself before finishing off in the corner after Henry Hutchison's long break.

Their defence was relentless again, stopping the Kiwis late charge to top their pool.

Australia Women 19 v Canada Women 17

Australia have survived an almighty scare to top their pool, defeating Canada 19-17.

The Aussies were forced to chase the game early after Canada’s Charity Williams scored twice for a 12-0 lead in the first half.

But Faith Nathan and Teagan Levi, on either side of the break, levelled the scores, with Nathan getting her second with three minutes left for the lead.

Canada wouldn’t die easily, crossing for a five-pointer with 90 seconds left, however, missed the kick as the Aussies held on.

Friday, 17 April
Australia Men 38 v USA Men 5

Australia have completed a perfect day one with a 38-5 victory over the USA,

The Aussies came out firing as Aden Ekanayake started the first half onslaught, with tries to James Turner and Maurice Longbottom giving them a 19-0 lead.

Turner’s second extended the advantage before half-time, with the Americans getting on the board to start the second half.

Dietrich Roache put the game out of reach with a long range effort after fierce defence forced the turnover, with Wallace Charlie putting the icing on the cake.

Australia Men 14 v Kenya Men 5

Australia’s Men's side has started their Hong Kong campaign with a 14-5 win over Kenya.

Kenya pushed the Aussies in a tense 14-minute affair, denied the opening try before Josh and James Turner crossed before half-time.

Kenya got on the board to start the second half, but the Australians were good enough to close out the win.

Australia Women 34 v Great Britain Women 7

The Australian Women's side ended day one of their campaign with a 34-7 win over Great Britain.

Maddison Levi scored twice in the first half, reaching 50 tries for the season and tied second overall on the World Series (256), equalling Portia Woodman-Wickliffe.

Fellow try-scoring freak Faith Nathan added her own double in the second half, with Bienne Terita and Kaitlin Shave scoring for the second game in a row in the comprehensive win.

Australia Women 33 v South Africa Women 0

Australia have started their Hong Kong campaign with a comfortable 33-0 win over South Africa.

Bienne Terita celebrated her return to the side with a double as they set the tempo early and often.

Teagan Levi joined her with a double, scoring late in the contest as she touched down despite an awkward collision with the goal post.
