James O'Connor has engineered a massive result for Leicester as they took down defending champions Bath 22-20.

O'Connor starred in his starting debut at flyhalf, controlling the contest and nailing a crucial kick for touch to set up a try in a thrilling win.

It set the tempo for a massive weekend for the Aussies, with Len Ikitau and Tom Hooper starting in Exeter's 36-0 shutout win over Harlequins.

Ikitau set up a try in the first half after latching onto a loose ball and unleashing Henry Slade, with Hooper coming up with two offloads.

Meanwhile, Josh Kemeny won the battle of the Aussie blindsides, guiding Northampton to a 36-19 win over Fergus Lee Warner and Newcastle.

Maddocks started his fifth game of the season as they defeated powerhouse Toulouse 30-26.
