Defending champions Queensland have been boosted with young gun Rhani Hagan named as they sit in second overall, behind their NSW counterparts.

The Queenslanders have also drafted in Brumbies flyer Charlie Brigstocke, who made her Super Rugby W debut last year and has played for the ACT side in past Next Gen events.

Teenager Layne Prince is among the new faces, the niece of NRL legend Scott, while capped Wallaroo Carys Dallinger will make her likely last appearance in maroon before heading back to New Zealand to play for the Chiefs in Super Rugby Aupiki.

They will face NSW in the opening game of the day, with the highest-ranked team on the finals table advancing straight to the decider, facing the winner of the second v third match.

The hosts' side includes Sevens talent Bridget Clark and Kiiahla Duff, with Duff and Clark recently suiting up for Tim Walsh’s side in Vancouver.

Wallaroos squad member Amelia Whitaker will also suit up in sky blue, having spent time within the 15s program in the past months.

As for the Brumbies, they have been boosted by Wallaroos contracted flanker Chioma Enyi.

The athletic back-rower is emerging as one of their brightest talents in the 15-a-side game, earning herself a maiden contract.

Spanish dual-international Anne Fernandez de Corres has been named once again.

The scrum-half is one of the most capped players in Spanish history, making her World Series debut almost a decade ago while also starting for Spain in every game at last year’s World Cup.

Ruby Nicholas leads the way for the ACT side, with the Brumbies opening their campaign against the Reds before facing the Waratahs.
