Utility back Braydon Ennor has re-signed with the Crusaders and New Zealand Rugby through to 2023.

Ennor has played one Test for the All Blacks, featuring against Argentina last year, and is considered to be an emerging star in New Zealand.

Starting out as a winger for the Crusaders, Ennor has worked his way into the midfield and was a key part of their third consecutive title campaign in 2019.

Crusaders coach Scott Robertson said it was "awesome news" to see Ennor sign on.

"He's come through some amazing years to make it as an All Black and now he has a chance to stamp his mark on Super Rugby," Robertson said on Wednesday.

"As consistent and professional as he is.

"He's a really important part of our group, he's a good man, and he could be a 100-game Crusader at this rate."
