SANZAAR on Monday confirmed the timing of the Sunwolves' two relocated matches, in the first Super Rugby double headers.

Friday afternoon's match between the Brumbies and Sunwolves had already been locked in but the round seven clash in Queensland against the Crusaders was yet to be confirmed.

Some cooperation from across the ditch has allowed the relocated game to kick off at 3:35pm local and 4:35pm AEDT, just ahead of the Reds-Bulls at 6:15pm local, 7;15pm AEDT.

Across the ditch, the Blues agreed to move their game, scheduled to kick off at 5:05pm AEDT, to a 2:45pm AEDT kick-off, to allow the Brisbane games to be played back-to-back.

QRU CEO David Hanham said it was an exciting development for the club and Queensland's fans, in their only chance to see the reigning champion Crusaders live in Brisbane this year.

"I’d like to thank SANZAAR and all stakeholders for their collaboration on this Super Rugby ‘Back-to-Back Double-Header’ in Brisbane on March 14," he said.

"The circumstances are clearly far from ideal, but the QRU and the Queensland government are determined to put on a special festival of Rugby, as we welcome our friends from Japan, New Zealand and South Africa.

“Fans will be able to enjoy four Super Rugby teams playing across 160 minutes of mouth-watering Rugby at one of the world’s premier Rugby venues – Suncorp Stadium.

“It will be Queenslanders first chance to see the champion Crusaders this season. Importantly, the QRU will not be raising the existing ticket price, so fans and members will get two Super Rugby games for the price of one – with the St.George Queensland Reds playing the Bulls in the existing family-friendly time slot."

The Waratahs and Chiefs and Brumbies and Sunwolves will play the first 2020 double header this weekend at WIN Stadium, Wollongong.

On Friday the Brumbies game kicks off at 2:45pm AEDT and the Waratahs kick off at 7:15pm AEDT.

The Sunwolves take on the Crusaders at Suncorp Stadium on Saturday March 14, kicking off at 3:35pm local, 4:35pm AEDT, before the Reds take on the Bulls at 6;15pm local, 7:15pm AEDT, LIVE on Foxtel, Kayo Sports and via RUGBY.com.au RADIO. Buy tickets here.
