Highly-rated teenager Carlo Tizzano will make his run-on debut for the Western Force when he starts in the no.7 against the Asia Pacific Dragons on Friday.

The Force will take on their third opponent in the Rapid Rugby Showcase series at HBF Park, and injected some new – and old – faces into the mix.

Tizzano was one of the stars of the Australian Schools and Under 18s tour of Ireland and Scotland last year, having already starred for UWA in his first year out of school, and joined the Force squad.

Tizzano will be joined by fellow homegrown talent Michael McDonald and former Brumby Nick Jooste in the 23-man squad.

Former Junior Wallabies halfback Isakk Fines will also take over from Ian Prior in the no.9.

Experienced troops will also return to the Force team who downed South China Tigers in their last outing, with Heath Tessmann back in the front row and Rod Davies also returning on the bench from an ankle injury he picked on Australian sevens duties.

Brad Lacey will join Clay Uyen on the wings with Marcel Brache and Henry Taefu in the centres.

The Force take on the Asia Pacific Dragons in Perth on Friday April 12, kicking off at 8:40pm local, 10:40pm AEST and replayed on SBS Viceland at 11:30pm AEST.
