Sunnybank has taken out the inaugural Queensland Premier Rugby Sevens series, with the final leg wrapping up on Saturday.

Bond Uni took out the leg at Easts on Saturday but Sunnybank's performances across the tournaments earned them the overall win.

Bond beat UQ 19-0 in the final to take the trophy and split this year's leg honours with Sunnybank, who also won two tournaments.

Iconz finished third with a big win over Wests in their playoff and the NT Mosquitoes came fifth, ahead of hosts Easts.
