Australia's Sevens squads fell short of Commonwealth Games gold at Robina Stadium, but it wasn’t for lack of trying on the part of players or fans.

The atmosphere at Robina Stadium was incredible and reached a crescendo on Sunday as the New Zealand women edged out Australia in an epic final, while the Aussie men rallied to finish fifth.
