The Force fell short of back-to-back World Club 10s titles on the weekend, finishing fourth in Mauritius.

After beating Super Rugby rivals the Brumbies in their quarter-final, the Force went on to face the Bulls in the final four match-up.

The Perth side fell short of the South Africans 33-14 in the final, after a scoreless opening half put them on the back foot.

Their third-place play-off was a tighter affair against the Africa Pacific Dragons, with the defending champions falling 17-12 in the bronze playoff.

The Brumbies finished sixth overall in the competition, going down to the Tsunami Pyrenees in the bowl final.

The Bulls went on to beat the Cheetahs in the final, 26-10.

The Brumbies' wider squad will be heading to Singapore on Monday to take on the Asia Pacific Dragons on Thursday.
