One Percenters is a new addition for Rugby.com.au, a column of some of the things you might have missed in this week of rugby, from grassroots to the big leagues.

Classics heading to Honkers

The Hong Kong Sevens kicks off next weekend, but it’s just part of their week of rugby action.

A handful of classic Wallabies will be making the trek over to Hong Kong to play in the Tens before staying on to cheer on the Aussie men in their pursuit of Sevens silverware.

Among the group will be  Luke Burgess, Morgan Turinui, Wendell Sailor, Radike Samo, Stephen Hoiles, Pat Phibbs, Brendan Williams.

They’ll be coached by 34-cap Wallaby Justin Harrison, with the side seeded fifth going into the invitational.

There’s a few big names around the competition, including former Springboks coach Heyneke Meyer pulling the strings for one of the Classics’ opponents.

Debbie downer for Bowen Mudcrabs

There was no goal kicking to be done in Bowen this week. Photo: Bowen Mudcrabs Facebook. It’s been a tough week for rugby clubs across Queensland, as Cyclone Debbie raged through the state.

Few were hit worse than the Bowen club, who tried to find some humour in a destructive few days, posting pictures of their field to Facebook.

Euphoric Premier Rugby

If you keep a close eye on the Queensland Premier Rugby, you might have noticed a new voice on their live stream last week, and a new face on their weekly show ‘The Breakdown’

Even if you don’t, you’ll likely be pleased to know (if you’re from north of the border), that the Reds have gone euphoric, recruiting Jaybor Staunton to their team, one of the brains behind the viral ‘Euphoric Queensland’ memes. We don’t know about you, but that’s got us craving a Milton Mango alongside the brown snake.

It's official: Charlie Taylor official.

Just chilling.. what about you?👖🌊 @jake_od

Move over Honey Badger, there's a new player in the  social media market, though his demographic might be somewhat different to the last viral Sevens player.

With 154,000 Instagram followers, he's clearly doing something right.

'Razor' Robertson's hospital pass

It seems even Kiwi coaches aren't keen to comment on the one-sided record between Australia and New Zealand's Super Rugby sides, based on Scott Robertson's reaction at Sunday's post-match press conference.

Scott Robertson wasn't keen to weigh in to the Australia-New Zealand debate. Photo: Getty ImagesAsked his thoughts on the reasons for the 11-0 New Zealand winning record so far this season, he said "I could get myself in trouble if I start making too big a statements," before handing the ultimate hospital pass to his captain Sam Whitelock to address the subject.

Foley’s fan club celebrates

He’s only played one game this season as he battles concussion symptoms but Bernard Foley still has his fair share of fans, include this avid follower, who included Foley and a photo from our every own Stu Walmsley in some family birthday celebration.

Reckon it looks good enough to eat!
