The Men's and Women's Aussie Sevens are on their way to Rio, departing Australia this morning on their quest for Olympic Gold.

What have the Aussie Sevens been up to in Brazil?

After arriving in Portobello last week, the Sevens sides have been training hard before the start of Olympic competition, On August 7 (AEST) for the women and August 10 (AEST) for the men.

It's been pretty warm in Brazil, so recovery has been welcome for the players.

There are plenty of great spots to recover  as well, with the women completing a session in the jungle.

The Aussie men have been trying a few different sports as well, to show solidarity with their counterparts in other sports.
