Declan Meredith is the perfect example of resilience and perseverance, grinding his way into the Wallabies set-up.

Hailing from the top of Australia in Cairns, Meredith moved down to ACT to follow his Rugby dream as a teenager.

Choosing Rugby over soccer, the playmaker spent several years in the Brumbies Academy, claiming the MacDougall Medal as John I Dent Player of the Year.

Further years serving behind Noah Lolesio and Jack Debreczeni meant Meredith was more than ready to explode when he got his chance in 2026, powering the Brumbies to upset wins over the Crusaders and Chiefs to catch the eye of Wallabies selectors.
