Aidan Ross

Aidan Ross' career to date has been full of intrigue, joining a unique group of players to represent both the Wallabies and All Blacks.

Born in Gosford, he moved to New Zealand, where he attended Tauranga Boys' College. In 2015, he made his debut for Bay of Plenty in the National Provincial Championship.

The Chiefs spotted his talent and signed him in 2017, and he played his lone matches for New Zealand in 2022.

Ross was a regular for the Chiefs until 2025, making 101 appearances for the Hamilton-based outfit before moving back to Australia to sign for the Queensland Reds.

The loosehead made a quick debut for the Reds against the British & Irish Lions, moving into the AUNZ squad for the one-off Test at Adelaide Oval.

As his three-year eligibility period wore off, Ross was brought into the Wallabies to make his debut against Japan in Tokyo.

In doing so, he became the fifth player to play for both trans-Tasman nations, along with Ted Jessep, Des Connor, Owen Stephens and Alex Hodgman.
