The Wallabies have received a timely boost as back-rower Tom Hooper is cleared of any major injury concerns.

Coach Les Kiss confirmed the news on Friday after Hooper was taken off early last week for Exeter with a shoulder injury.

It’s the same shoulder knock Hooper sustained during the July Tests, which fractured his scapula.

While it was feared it was a repeat injury that could’ve ruled Hooper out of the November Nations Championship Tests, Kiss has eased those fears as they prepare to meet Hooper in England.

“With that scapular issue that he has, he gets a blow on it, it’s just sore but all scans have cleared everything,” Kiss told reporters before heading to the UK.

“All his movement’s coming back and he’s going to join the camp in a good way, which is bloody fantastic.”

Kiss is also likely to have all his playmakers back available after Carter Gordon (broken leg) and Ben Donaldson (upper leg) missed the Bledisloe Cup Test in Sydney.

It poses an interesting headache for the coach, especially with Gordon's potential return after standout showings from Donaldson and Declan Meredith.

“We'll work it out…We’ve had brief discussions as coaches about how that's going to look for us and how do we work that through the whole three games,” he said on Gordon’s potential return.

"…I can’t fault how they do their work and their work is fantastic. ‘Donno’ against South Africa, I thought, showed really good quality and took that game on.

“Declan in that [Bledisloe] owned it in important moments. The kickoffs were a few things he could’ve done better but there was a drive and verb in his game. He was direct; he took the line on and challenged with some kicks.

“I think all of them understand how we want to play and how we're going to evolve some of that in the Northern Hemisphere when we go there.”

The Wallabies also have the option of Kurtley Beale if needed, although Kiss sees the Western Force veteran more as a inside centre option after Hunter Paisami’s withdrawal.

“We've always said we'd lean back into the experience when we wanted to but he’s coming in to predominately drive that second five eight/number 12 person and he can flex into 15 and 10 in our sessions and how we build a game going forwards,” Kiss noted.
