Rory Scott

Watching Rory Scott attack the breakdown is like watching a grizzly bear take down its prey — powerful, menacing, and utterly domineering. 

Scott attended Marist College in Canberra and is a long-time product of the Canberra Royals, where he won back-to-back Premierships coming out of school. Working his way through the Brumbies Pathway program, he earned his home debut in 2021 against the Western Force and has since cemented himself as a key part of the Brumbies setup. 

In 2024, Scott earned selection to the Australian A side for the first time, traveling to England for fixtures against Bristol Bears and England A, showcasing his physicality and consistency at a higher level. Known for his tireless workrate, raw power, and ability to dominate contact, Scott has become a fixture in the Brumbies back row. 

Heading into the 2026 season, Scott remains a menacing presence in the forwards. With strength, endurance, and a nose for the ball, he continues to drive the pack, doing the hard work and setting the platform for his team.
