The Fijian freight train, Bobby V smashes through tackles, and leaves a disaster zone of piled up opposition in his wake. The giant backrower is an enforcer in every sense of the word.

Rob hails from Melbourne, attending Westall Secondary College where he earned selection in the Victorian state squads at U16, U18, and U20 levels. The Brumbies acted quickly, signing the prodigious talent while he was still in school. Following his Australian U20s experience, he moved to Canberra and played for the Tuggeranong Vikings before making his Super Rugby debut against the Sun Wolves in 2018.

Rob’s breakout season came in 2019, earning him his first Wallabies call-up and debut against Samoa. His career has since been decorated with accolades: named Australia’s Super Rugby Player of the Year in 2023, and becoming only the third player in history to win back-to-back John Eales Medals after picking up the award at the conclusion of the 2023 and 2024 seasons.

Heading into the 2026 season, Rob looks to be back to full fitness - watch out defenders. With an insane work rate, raw power, and relentless ball carrying, he will continue to dominate collisions and set the tone in every match.
